Bttrfs

Bttrfs, or "the better root filesystem" is a set of tools for creating, deploying and managing an image-based and optionally immutable root filesystem and sub-directories.

The better root filessytem utilizes the advanced functionality of the Btrfs filesystem, or more specifically subvolumes, to achieve this task.
